Adrian Thomas, M.D. is the NH1 News medical expert.
Dr. Thomas is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon and a partner at New Hampshire NeuroSpine Institute. He sees patients in Bedford and Nashua and his practice focuses on non-surgical and surgical treatment of the neck and back.
After graduating from Yale University with a degree in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry he obtained his medical degree from Stanford University School of Medicine. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City and his spine surgery fellowship at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston.
Dr. Thomas is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (FAAOS) and a member of North American Spine Society (NASS). Dr. Thomas sits on the Board of Directors of the Granite State Children’s Alliance and the Board of Directors of the Yale Club of NH. Dr. Thomas also works with the Healthcare Work Group of the Governor's Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention’s Opioid Task force.
In his free time - which there isn’t much of - Dr. Thomas enjoys working out, running, and spending as much time as possible with his family. He lives in Bedford with his wife and three daughters.
