Young boy donates $8 allowance for Wolfeboro K-9 to get safety vest

WOLFEBORO – Most young boys use their allowance to buy candy, toys or games – but not Oliver.

Oliver saved up his $8 allowance and mailed it to the Wolfeboro Police Department with a specific purpose.

K-9 Officer Riggs recently joined the squad and in an effort to ensure Riggs' safety, Oliver donated the money to get the K-9 a special safety vest.

The Wolfeboro police posted the note from Oliver on their Facebook page, thanking the boy for his donation in keeping the K-9 program funded.

Riggs has received two more $8 donations since Oliver sent his money in.

Way to go, Oliver!
