YMCA of Greater Nashua is helping parents with free child care while they vote

NASHUA - The city YMCA is lending a hand to parents without a babysitter on Election Day in Nashua and Merrimack, thanks to the Zoe’s Kids Day Out initiative.

The YMCA of Greater Nashua is offering two hours free childcare for children between the ages of one and 12 while parents attend the polls to vote, both Y members and non-members alike. The free child care will start at 6:30 a.m. and will go through till 8 p.m.

The Zoe's Kids Day Out initiative is part of Zoe's larger "Rattle the Vote" campaign to encourage voter participation. Participation in the Zoe’s Day Out initiative varies among Y's across the country

Parents will need to register their kids by the end of day on Monday, so that the branches can accommodate the needs of the community.

The Nashua branch is located at 24 Stadium Drive and the Merrimack branch is located at 6 Henry Clay Drive.
