The YMCA Eagles Wrestling Program is celebrating its 25 year anniversary on Saturday at the YMCA of Downtown Manchester.
In the first year, the program, founded by Rick Ross, had 11 participants. More than 650 wrestlers have gone through the program, many of whom have gone onto to wrestle on high school teams and at the college level.
Several former wrestlers also are now coaches in local high schools.
Ross is retiring as full-time director of the program.
