Worcester, MA man surrenders to Portsmouth PD on felony warrant


PORTSMOUTH - A Worcester, Mass., man surrendered himself to Portsmouth Police after a warrant was issued for his felony arrest Thursday.

Paul Richford, 27, was charged with three counts of False Personation for presenting himself as a police officer, one count of Witness Tampering, one count of Obstructing the Report of a Crime, three counts of Sexual Assault and Forcible Fondling, and six counts of Simple Assault.
Portsmouth Police allege the incidents happened at the Burger King on Lafayette Road between July and September where Richford was employed at the time.

He is being held on $10,000 cash bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in Portsmouth District Court on Friday.
