Women of NH, are you looking to donate breast milk? Now you can in Bedford

BEDFORD — Starting August 23, women will have a new option when it comes to donating breast milk.

Nini Bambini in Bedford is working closely with the Mother's Milk Bank Northeast to start accepting donations.

Women can bring frozen breast milk into the center and Bambini will store it in a new freezer until it's ready to be shipped out.

They assure there is nothing to worry about as Mother's Milk Bank is taking out the guess work for safety concerns.

"They make sure that every donor is screened and that that milk is safe enough for premature infants in the hospital," said Bambini. "We'll make sure that they've completed the screening process and a staff member will be here to collect the donation in person."

There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony on Aug. 23 at about 5:30pm. All families are welcome to attend.
