Woman who threw 6-month-old to ground in Keene will spend year in jail
KEENE – A Wisconsin woman accused of throwing her six-month-old baby to the ground in Keene - causing a skull fracture - will spend one year in jail.
According to the Union Leader, Miranda Baillargeon, pleaded guilty Friday on second-degree assault and one count of simple assault. She is being held on $50,000 bail.
Baillargeon was arrested in April and police said she grabbed the child by the head and threw him to the ground.
The child has been in the custody of the Division of Children Youth and Families and the no contact order between Baillargeon and her son was revoked in August, allowing her to see her child again.
Baillargeon was given three years’ probation on the felony assault conviction.
