Woman trapped in car for 30 minutes escapes serious injury in Belmont crash


BELMONT - A woman escaped serious injuries but was trapped in her car for about 30 minutes, police said.

The T-bone type crash happened at 6 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of Ladd Hill and Daniel Webster Highway.

Crews from Laconia Fire and Belmont Fire worked together to extricate the woman from the car.

The woman was taken to Lakes Region General Hospital.
