CONCORD - A Dominican woman living in Massachusetts plead guilty to conspiring to distribute fentanyl in an organization through southern New Hampshire and Massachusetts, officials said.

Bicky Zapata-Nivar, 29, was living Lawrence.

An investigation into a drug trafficking organization began in spring and summer 2015, officials said, when undercover agents bought 290 grams of fentanyl from the organization.

Officials said Zapata-Nivar was found with 246 grams of fentanyl, packing materials, and her minor child in her bedroom after obtaining a search warrant.

Zapata-Nivar told officials she packaged drugs for members of the organization and was paid to do it.

She appeared in U.S. district court in Concord and will be sentenced on June 8.
