Woman arrested on I-89, charged with possession of meth and other drugs

LEBANON- Early this morning police stopped a woman on Interstate 89 for speeding and suspected drug possession.

While speaking to the woman, officers observed signs of possible drug use which led to a car search.

The drugs methamphetamine and buprenorphine, which is generic Suboxone, were both found in 31-year-old Franklin resident, Shannon Lundy's car.

Lundy was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of a narcotic drug. She was held on $2,500 cash bail and was arraigned Wednesday in the Lebanon District Court.
