Woman arrested for allegedly beating, strangling, threatening victim in Nashua
NASHUA - A woman was arrested after police said she beat another woman, damaged her property, pulled out a knife, strangled her two different times and threatened the victims' life.
Halie Ryder, 19 of Nashua, was arrested at about 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ryder and the victim engaged in multiple separate altercations through out the day, police said.
Ryder was charged with two counts of assault, domestic violence, two counts of second-degree assault, one count of criminal threatening, and one count of domestic violence - all of which are felonies. She was also charged with 11 counts of simple assault, 11 counts of domestic violence, and criminal mischief - which are all misdemeanors.
For each felony Ryder could serve up to 7 years in prison and up to one additional year for every misdemeanor.
Ryder was held on $25,000 cash-only bail. She was scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
