Woman administered NARCAN after hitting 2 police trailers in Manchester

MANCHESTER - A woman was administered NARCAN at the scene of accident last week.

As a result, 23 year-old Jelena Novcic of Manchester was issued a summons for operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol.

Police say on May 7, two witnesses told them they saw a vehicle driving erratically on Calef Road in Manchester.

The vehicle then struck a parked Manchester Police radar trailer, which was parked in front of 1369 Calef Road.

Police say the vehicle, driven by Novcic, then kept driving and struck another radar trailer.

Novcic apparently passed out after stopping her vehicle and was unconscious when a Manchester police officer arrived on the scene.

She was revived after she was administered NARCAN, which reverses the effects of opiates.

Novcic was transported to Catholic Medical Center and will appear in the 9th Circuit Court in Manchester on May 21.

The radar trailer sustained heavy damage and may be a total loss.
