Woman accused of luring man using Backpage ad to rob and beat him gets trial date
DOVER — A woman who is accused of luring a man to a Somersworth apartment using a Backpage ad to rob and beat him will face trial in August.

Felicia Smart, 23, of Barrington, was charged with one count of robbery and one count of conspiracy to commit robbery. She faces up to 14 years in state prison.
The trial for the January incident will begin on Aug. 2 at Strafford County Superior Court, according to seacostonline.com.
There they learned the victim had met a woman at the apartment in response to an ad posted on Backpage. While he was at the apartment, he said he was attacked and had an undetermined amount of money is taken from him. According to police, he suffered numerous facial injuries during the robbery.
Backpage is known to host ads for prostitution and escort services.
Also indicted in connection to the case were, Edwin Dorr, Joel Leary, Chelsea Barratt and Matthew Nuernberg. Dorr and Leary face similar charges to Smart's. Barratt and Nuernberg were charged with falsifying physical evidence.
