Woman accused of DUI, assaulting officers, resisting arrest and reckless conduct to appear in court
GILFORD — A Manchester woman who had an active warrant out for her arrest is now facing a slew of charges after she allegedly led police on a low-mileage chase on Route 106 Friday night.
Police said that Ashley Hodgdon, 25, of Manchester, reportedly failed to pull over for officers and then led them on a chase down Route 106 before she lost control of her car. Police also accused of Hodgdon of resisting arrest and assaulting police officers by punching, kicking and trying to bite them. She is also alleged to have reached for one officer’s firearm.
As a result, Hodgdon has been charged with driving under the influence, two counts of disobeying a police officer, two counts of simple assault, one count of reckless conduct, one count of resisting arrest and one count of taking a firearm from a law enforcement official.
She is being held at the Belknap County House of Corrections on $150,000 cash bail and is scheduled to appear in court Monday at 1:30 p.m.
