Wolfeboro K9 officer 'Riggs' gets new safety vest thanks in part to 8-year-old's allowance

WOLFEBORO - K9 officer “Riggs” received his bullet and knife-proof vest Friday with the help of a non-profit and the donation of a young boy named Oliver’s allowance.

In case you may have forgotten, Oliver is an 8-year-old boy from the area who sent in his $8 dollar allowance to help fund Riggs’ new vest.

Now, thanks to Oliver, and Vested Interested in K9’s Inc., Riggs will be more safe…and styling!
