Cox, 52, waived her arraignment Tuesday in Seabrook District Court and pleaded not guilty to DWI and reckless conduct charges.

Police said Cox struck Sandra Dary, of Hampton on Ocean Boulveard Friday, who was in the breakdown lane walking her dog.

Dary was taken to Exeter Hospital and later released.

Cox was working part-time as a WMUR reporter but is currently on leave pending the outcome of the case.
