Winner purchases $1 million Powerball ticket at Londonderry Shell station


LONDONDERRY — Someone has won $1 million after purchasing a Powerball ticket at a Shell service station in town.

According to the Union Leader, the winning ticket was sold at a station at 12-14 Nashua Road.

The gas station owner, Aziz Saba, was pleased to hear the news.

"I am always excited when we sell good amount of money to local people who buy from us, and it makes me very very happy," he told NH1 News.

The winning numbers in Saturday’s Powerball drawing were 12-27-29-43-68, with 1 and 2 for the Powerball numbers.

New Hampshire Lottery spokesman EJ Powers said as of Sunday night, no winner had come forward to claim the prize.
