The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory until 4 p.m. Thursday.
Strong westerly winds are expected as colder air moves into the Granite State.
Wind gusts close to 50 mph are possible in places.
These gusty winds will cause difficult driving conditions especially for high profile vehicles on north south oriented roadways.
Small items may be blown around by the wind, and small limbs may be snapped from trees. Isolated power outages are possible as a result of the strong gusts.
As of 8:30 a.m., over 5,000 New Hampshire customers are without power.
