Whole Foods recalls several products that could contain peanuts

Whole Foods Market is recalling several products that could contain peanuts.

Whole Foods said a supplier told them some items may contain ground cumin spice, which could contain the undeclared peanut protein.

People with an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts could have a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they eat these products.

No allergic reactions have been reported to-date and the recalled items have been taken off store shelves.

Items that contained the spice were sold from Jan. 14 - Feb. 6. The affected items were sold in seven states, including New Hampshire, and Washington, D.C.

Customers can throw the recalled items away and bring their receipt to the store for a full refund. Consumers with questions can call 1-512-477-5566, ext. 20060, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
