'Where's the Beef?': NH police investigating theft at local Wendy's
MANCHESTER — Manchester police responded to the Wendy's on South Willow Street Thursday after receiving a report that a suspect stole a mother's purse.
The victim was eating lunch with her two children when a woman stole her pocketbook as she walked by, police said.
The suspect fled the restaurant and hopped into a dark Chevrolet Suburban or Tahoe driven by an unknown man with a small child in the backseat.
The victim attempted to pursue the thief as she got into the getaway vehicle, but as the man sped off, she was thrown out and onto the ground, police said. She suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect is described as having tattoos on her left side and on her arms and legs. The car's first three registration numbers could be 246 or 236 according to witnesses.
If anyone has information regarding the incident, they are asked to contact the Manchester Police Department at (603)668-8711.
