With the price of living varying in each state, the value of a dollar changes slightly as well.

247wallst.com did a study to find out exactly how much a dollar actually is in every state.

Unfortunately, New Hampshire isn't very high up on the list.

One dollar in New Hampshire comes down to $0.94 and is ranked number at number 42 of the 50 states, according to the data collected. There was an increase in the change of the dollar value between 2008 and 2013.

The average household income in the state is $66,532 which is the seventh highest of the 50 states. The state also has the lowest poverty rate at 9.2%.

Number one on the list is Mississippi with the dollar being worth $1.15.
