Here are some important events happening around the Granite State on Friday, April 21, 2017.
1. Waste Management of New Hampshire is hosting a blood drive in honor of Austin Mills, a 15-year-old recently diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia. The blood drive will be held at Waste Management located at 38 Rochester Neck Road from 2 to 7 p.m.
2. Exeter Hospital is holding a press conference to announce the details of its 2nd annual United Wellness Road Race Series at noon. The United in Wellness Road Race Series is comprised of 10 community road races with each race committed to supporting local community organizations within the Seacoast area.
3. The Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus is coming to New Hampshire for the last time this weekend from Friday to Sunday. Protesters plan to gather outside the circus, stating that many of the tigers and lions they use will continue performing after the show closes.
