Water main fixed after more than a million gallons of water floods downtown Concord

CONCORD - Officials say the water main break that sent more than a million of gallons of water flowing through downtown Concord on Tuesday has been fixed.

General Services (Public Works) said water services were restored around 10:15 p.m. last night.

Those who were affected should run their water until it's clear. If it doesn't clear in five minutes, call 603-228-2737.

The water treatment facility told General Services that 1.6 million gallons of water ran through the downtown Concord area during the main break.
