Water bottles pulled from NH shelves after possible E. coli contamination

CONCORD - A bottled water recall is in effect over possible E. coli contamination at one bottling company's spring water source.

Several supermarket chains across the northeast carry the water, bottled by Niagara Bottling, including 7-Eleven, Acadia, Big Y, Nature's Place, PriceRite, Shaw's, Hannaford and Wegman's.

The recalled brands: Acadia, Acme, Big Y, Best Yet, 7-11, Niagara, Nature's Place, PriceRite, Superchill, Morning Fresh, Shaws, ShopRite, Western Beef Blue, and Wegman's.

We checked the Shaw's in Concord to see if its brand of water is still for sale. It's been pulled.

We then visited Hannaford to see if its brand of water - Nature's Place - is still on the shelves. It is. However, when you check the fine print, it's not one of the batches from the recall.

To find out if your water is part of the recall, check the serial number on the bottle. It must start with the letter A or F, followed by a bottled date between June 10-18.

To date, there are no reports of anyone getting sick from the water.
