WATCH: This chill NH anthem can help you beat the 603 summer heat

Just in time for these crazy hot days (no, seriously - just ask Joe Joyce), we've got a mellow anthem in Granite State to help us chill out!

The song and video was actually released in July, but we don't think it's a coincidence that we found it on a day that's supposed to be in the mid-90s.

The Super Secret Project (you know, of Granite State of Mind-fame) teamed up with Roots of Creation to create the ballad of why New Hampshire might be the greatest summer state in the country.

"Summer in the 603" is a play off "Summertime (Doin' Time)" by Sublime - and it's spot-on.

It's hard to argue with lyrics like, "It's the season for the Lakes Region, it's finally warm" and shout-outs aplenty "We've got the drive-in in Milford, Meadowbrook up in Gilford. I miss Benson's Animal Farm, that place was the illest."

Our favorite though?

"We go party our faces off like the Old Man did."

Take a look at the video and try not to blast it on repeat.

OK. You can blast it on repeat.

"No disrespect, to me, this is the way life should be."
