WATCH: Ted Cruz pulls Marco Rubio attack ad after learning actress was porn star

Whoops.

Ted Cruz's campaign decided to pull a recent ad attacking Marco Rubio titled "Conservatives Anonymous," featuring fake self-help session where voters admitted their past support for Rubio.

Why? Because it featured an actress that also has credits in several softcore pornographic films.

The video was launched - and pulled - on Thursday.

The actress is Amy Lindsay - whose IMDB credits include acting roles in such titles as "Co-Ed Confidential, "Insatiable Desire" and "Animal Lust."

However she did also have roles on "Star Trek: Voyager" and "The Portrait of a Lady."

"The actress responded to an open casting call," Cruz communications director Rick Tyler told POLITICO in a statement. "She passed her audition and got the job. Unfortunately, she was not vetted by the casting company. Had the campaign known of her full filmography, we obviously would not have let her appear in the ad. The campaign is taking the ad down and will replace it with a different commercial."

Lindsay wasn't too thrilled her spot was pulled.

She later tweeted:

Lindsay played a woman who tells another group member, "Maybe you should vote for more than just a pretty face next time."

Take a look at the ad below.

What do you think? Should Cruz have pulled the ad? Does it change your mind - one way or the other - about his campaign?
