The commercial making waves.
Should it be?
A boy starred in a new Moschino Barbie commercial - a pretty cool concept. A boy should be allowed to play with a doll, right?
But is it over the top?
Take a look at the commercial below:
Comments are all over the place across the web.
Some are praising it, saying the spot is a great step forward for gender neutrality in toys.
Others say the boy is being unnecessarily portrayed as a gay stereotype, and that he's a little too young to be doing so.
It could also be a genius marketing campaign - knowing specifically that a conversation would ensue.
For the record, the collector's doll (originally priced at $150) sold out in the first hour it was for sale.
And it's fetching close to $400 on resale sites.
So what do you think about the Moschino Barbie commerical?
