MANCHESTER - Police are looking for a suspect that robbed Union Street Market on Wednesday night.

Police responded to the market at about 8:15 p.m. after the clerk said he was robbed by a man with a large "hunting-style" knife.

The suspect reached over the counter and removed an undisclosed amount of cash from the cash register before fleeing on foot. He was last seen heading northerly on Union Street.

The suspect is a white man, about 5-feet 7-inches, with a slender to average build, possibly in his early 20s.

He was wearing a dark brown winter coat with dark green pants and a black mask, which covered half of his face.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the Manchester Police at 603-668-8711 or the Manchester Police Crimeline at 603-624-4040.
