NORTHFIELD — Several people reported seeing meteors flash across the sky on Wednesday night, but one officer caught it on camera.
An officer was able to capture a meteor using the camera system in the police cruiser. He was traveling north on Park Street when the meteor came into sight.
Police said that the camera system is on the older side, so the video quality is not the best, but a meteor can clearly be seen going across the screen.
"We did see it as well and it was very bright," said Officer Aaron Chapple.
