WATCH: People burn American flags in Washington DC to protest Trump's win


WASHINGTON, D.C. — People are burning American flags at American University in Washington D.C. in protest of GOP nominee Donald Trump's presidential win.

The woman holding the burning flag in the video can be heard yelling "This is a representation of America. We are going down in flames."

A witness said other flags have been burned there as well.

An undercover police presence is reported to be around the scene.

Trump claimed victory over Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton
