CONCORD — A small Chihuahua puppy is looking for his forever home but before he does, he had some big decisions to make this Election Day.

Peppercorn is from the Pope Memorial SPCA had the honor of choosing our next Governor and President this Tuesday morning at the NH1 News Headquarters.

Peppercorn was nervous and shaking as he anticipated his very important vote. Of all the Chihuahuas, Peppercorn held the fate of Americans in his paws.

There was a cup for each candidate with their name written in bold black, with a treat above each name.

Peppercorn's resistance to vote was palpable as he ran from the treats as if they weren't edible. After a few sweet sniffs, Peppercorn made his choices.

One step, two step, three step, SUNUNU! And the first vote was in. Chris Sununu would be Peppercorn's chosen Governor.

Again, a very reluctant Peppercorn looked at us from afar as he contemplated his next, and most important vote.

Sniff to the right, sniff to the left, and CRUNCH, he choose Donald Trump with a nose-licking smile before bolting away.

All jokes aside, stay tuned with NH1 for the actual results later this evening! Send us your ballot selfies, and ballot troubles at news@nh1.com.
