MANCHESTER – Manchester firefighters and Animal Control officers responded to Calef Road after a fire burned through a two-family home.
Although all the people living in the complex escaped, fire crews rescued two cats and one dog.
Robert White watched as Manchester Animal Control Officers administered CPR to the animals.
“They administered CPR trying to do whatever they could and help resuscitate it and took it off to the vet,” White said.
Unfortunately, the dog was not able to be saved and one cat is still seeking attention from vets.
