WATCH: How to miraculously calm a crying baby according to one pediatrician
Parents will do just about anything to calm down the a crying baby.
A California pediatrician has a trick that he claims works like a charm.
Dr. Robert Hamilton has created a YouTube video that's gone viral, generating over 3 million views, that demonstrates the technique he calls the “the hold.”
He instructs you fold the baby's right arm, then left arm, together in front of his or her chest. Then he says to hold the baby’s bottom with your dominant hand at a 45 degree angle and wiggle them.
It seems to work for babies two to three months of age.
