DIXVILLE NOTCH - A small mountain town just south of the Canadian border will be the first to vote in the 2016 election.
Dixville Notch has the longest continuous record of midnight voting. They've been keeping the tradition alive since 1960.
We were live at midnight on NH1.com and NH1 News's Facebook page from the Balsams. Eight people voted in the earliest part of the election, with most races being pretty evenly split.
There was a surprise write-in vote for president, though. Watch the video above to see who got it.
