Washington threatened in new Islamic State video, group warns of 'Paris-style' attacks

An Islamic State group warns Washington could be next for a "Paris-style" attack in a video released Monday.

According to Reuters, the 11 minute video showed up on a site used by Islamic State to post its messages.

The authenticity couldn't immediately be authenticated, but in the video the group threatened to attack Washington and warned that countries taking part in air strikes in Syria would suffer attacks like in France last week.

A man identified in the video as "Al Ghareeb the Algerian" said more attacks were coming in Europe.
