DOVER — Chief Anthony Colarusso said the Dover Police Department has arrested 18-year-old Gavin O'Neill, of Rochester, on one count of criminal mischief.
The arrest came after police investigated large amounts of graffiti at Dover High School on June 9. O'Neill turned himself in last week after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
The derogatory statements and images were spray painted on the concession stands, press box, rubber track, the football field, fences surrounding the field, and bleachers.
Police say they do not believe O'Neill acted alone and are continuing to look for more suspects.
Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the Dover Police Department at (603) 742-4646. Anonymous tips may be called into the Dover Crimeline at (603) 749-6000.
