Voter Shaming: Letters hit NH threatening to reveal if/when Granite Staters voted

NH1 Digital Content Manager - NH1.com

Would you be more likely to vote to if friends, family and coworkers would find out if you didn't?

That's the gamble a mysterious letter that has been circulating the Granite State is taking.

The letter - sealed in an envelope that says "IMPORTANT TAXPAYER INFORMATION ENCLOSED." on the front - is being sent by an unknown group.

NH1 News obtained a copy of one of the letters (as seen above).

The letters warn Granite Staters that "your neighbors and other people you know will all know who voted and who did not vote."

They also include a voting report grid - but one person we spoke with said that the information it included was inaccurate.

The letters don't have much information about who sent them. They don't have any campaign information. They're linked to a P.O. Box in Manchester and they say they're registered to a group call "Public Policy Matters."

We couldn't find any information on Public Policy Matters.

Have you received a letter like this? Do they concern you?

Let us know in the comments.
