Volunteers in New Hampton working to rebuild home for family of 12

NEW HAMPTON - Volunteers are rebuilding a home for a family of 12 in New Hampton. A chimney fire heavily damaged the home on Kelley Pond Road earlier this month.

No one was hurt, but the family did not have insurance. People have been working long days to help with the rebuild. There were about 20 volunteers last weekend.

Volunteers hope the family can move back in by next Wednesday. Companies helping include Home Beautiful, Metro Walls, Stove Barn, Rowells Sewer and Drain, J&M Plumbing and Heating, Dumpster Depot and TNT Electrical.
