Video shows cop being dragged by car when suspect drives off

COLORADO - Video of a police stop that reminds people why a police officer's job is so dangerous. A routine stop for a relatively minor offense led to an officer hanging onto the car for her life. It happened a year ago in Parker, Colorado, but the shocking video was just released.

It all began with Parker Police spotting a car with expired license plates. What they didn't know was that Justin Wayne Lamb, wanted on numerous felony warrants, was hiding in the back.

After the driver was arrested, officer Glenna Villers spotted Lamb hiding and ordered him out. As she tried to pry him out, Lamb took off and officer Villers desperately held on at speeds up to 30 miles an hour, swerving through traffic.

Lamb was finally caught after driving off the road. The officer suffered minor injuries.
