WATERVILLE, Maine – A bystander’s video caught the confusion that ensued after the popular “Dragon Wagon” kiddie roller coaster broke down Monday.
The video shows the roller coaster separate in two pieces while rounding the track as many children were on board.
The accident left three children with minor injuries and one was transported to the hospital.
Janette Gilmorem, the owner of Smokey's Greatest Shows that operates The Dragon Wagon, told WCSH 6, "It's a shame and accidents happen. I feel badly about what happened. But we did everything we were asked to do as far as getting the rides inspected."
The cause of the accident is still not clear.
