Victims: 2 men challenged them to fight before attacking them in Manchester


MANCHESTER — Police arrested two men for allegedly attacking a pair of victims walking near Mechanic and Plaza streets at about 1:50 a.m. Sunday morning.

The the two male victims, whose identities NH1 is keeping anonymous, reported that Christian David, 20, and Trevor Hodgeman, 21, allegedly challenged them to a fight and, after the victims declined, were assaulted.

One of the victims was hospitalized after sustaining a deep laceration to his eye. The other had minor injuries, but declined medical treatment. David allegedly removed money from one victim's pocket and damaged his phone. David and Hodgeman were both arrested shortly after the alleged attack took place.

David is facing charges for unarmed robbery, second-degree assault, criminal mischief and resisting arrest. Hodgeman was charged with second-degree assault.
