Victim of an armed robbery disarmed assailants, stabbed them both

MANCHESTER — A man managed to obtain the knife in an armed robbery and stabbed both of the assailants.

The victim was lured into a parking garage where two men, that allegedly knew him, threatened the victim with a knife and assaulted him, according to police.

The victim was able to disarm the assailants and stabbed both of them repeatedly.

The assailants attempted to flee, threw away the knife and wallet, but were caught by police.

Police say one of the suspects sustained serious injuries with several lacerations to his upper body. He is still in the hospital.

The other suspect sustained several injuries to his lower body. He was released from the hospital and taken into police custody.

Both the assailants are being charged with armed robbery and falsifying evidence.

The victim escaped with minor injuries, and refused medical treatment.
