Vehicle hits NH pedestrian, causing serious bodily injury
HAMPTON — Hampton police responded to a car accident Tuesday night where a pedestrian was struck and injured.
Officers were called to the crash on Ashworth Avenue and L Street around 9:10 p.m.
At the scene, a 63-year-old male had a serious bodily injury and was treated on scene by Hampton Fire before being transported to Exeter Hospital.
The driver was identified by police, but no name was revealed in the press release.
Although no charges have been filed, the accident remains under investigation. Anyone who witnessed or has information about the incident is asked to call the Hampton Police Department at (603) 929-4444.
