WEARE — Police are looking for help to identify the person responsible for damaging youth soccer fields.
Around 5:50 a.m. Monday, police responded to Ineson Field on Quaker Street after a person who lives adjacent to the field reported that someone had left circular tire tracks across the grass.
The vehicle caused significant damage to the fields, which are used by the Weare Athletic Club. The club uses the fields about six days a week for soccer. It runs programs starting in pre-K up to eighth grade.
Police do not have a description of the vehicle and are asking anyone who saw or heard anything to call them at (603) 529-7755.
