US Marshals name NH's Hayden Moon as Fugitive of the Week

BELMONT — A man with a warrant who fled from police has been named the Fugitive of the Week by the U.S. Marshals.

The New Hampshire Joint Task Force has been requested to assist in the location and arrest of Hayden Moon.

Moon fled from police in a vehicle after an officer attempted to arrest him for a warrant on South Road at about 1:39 a.m. Friday.

The officer fired his weapon multiple times at Moon's vehicle, police said. The vehicle has been located, but police are asking for the public's help to locate Moon.

U.S. Marshals said that Moon has extensive ties to the Lakes Region and is possibly still in this area.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Moon are asked to contact the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force or your local police.
