WINCHESTER – A Winchester man is facing charges after N.H. State Police responded to a dispute that unfolded Tuesday afternoon involving a gun.
Joseph Legere, 35, got in an armed standoff with a neighbor.
Legere was charged with criminal threatening with a deadly weapon and reckless conduct.
Legere barricaded himself in his home until a SWAT team negotiator had Legere come out of his home around 4:40 p.m.
Winchester police said the situation ended peacefully and that Jones Road and surrounding streets are open.
Legere is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in Keene.
