UPDATE: White Mountain Cider Company fire injures 2 firefighters, lasts over an hour
GLEN — The White Mountain Cider Company Market & Deli fire took firefighters over an hour to extinguish.
The fire started at about 7:25 a.m. Route 302 was closed as firefighters had to place their hoses across it for a water source.
Two firefighters faced non-life-threatening injuries. One was treated at the scene, while the other was sent to a local hospital.
The restaurant portion of White Mountain Cider still remains intact, but their separate deli and market building is a complete lose, Fire Chief Pat Roberts said.
The restaurant closed Friday, but plans to reopen Saturday.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but does not appear to be suspicious, Roberts said.
