NASHUA - Some victims of the fire that torched a Nashua apartment building on Sunday are still trying to make sense of it.

The fire left 13 people displaced just a few days before Christmas.

Kevin Fordham and his family said they lost almost everything in the fire.

Fordham said the fire ruined presents for his 5-year-old son, and that his family had his 7-year-old niece and an elderly family member visiting for the holidays.

The Red Cross has put them up at a nearby motel.

Fordham told NH1News that the family "is still in shock" and the hardest part of the accident was going back to the building and trying to salvage what remained.

Two college roommates that were living in a unit in the building have a friend who started a GoFundMe page for them.
