EPPING - The victims of a serious crash involving an overturned tractor-trailer have been identified as a mother and her teen daughter.

Police responded to the area of Route 125 and North River Road in Epping at about 6:50 this morning after reports of a crash between a Chrysler PT Cruiser and a Kenworth Tractor-Trailer unit.

The driver of the PT Cruiser, Elisa Smith, suffered a serious head injury and was med-flown to Boston to be treated. The passenger, Smith's 17-year-old daughter Abigael Kershaw, was transported to Exeter Hospital with non-lifethreatening injuries.

The driver of the tractor-trailer, Miguel Adames, was also taken to Exeter Hospital for non-lifethreatening injuries.

The southbound travel and break down lane on Route 125 was closed for approximately 4 hours. Due to the area neighborhoods and morning school pick up for children traffic was not diverted.

Traffic is still a mess on Route 125 as the police clear the scene and investigate the crash.

Police are asking drivers to find an alternate route.
