UPDATE: Victims in Brentwood crash have been identified

BRENTWOOD — A car accident occurred on Route 125 on Friday.

When police arrived on scene, they learned that a blue 2004 Ford F-350 operated by Paul Smith, 46, and had stopped to make a left turn while a red 2006 GMC Sierra operated by Christopher Loudon, 33 was coming from the same direction. A green 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer, driven by Jennifer Markee, 40, was coming from the opposite direction.

Loudon rear-ended Smith which pushed the cars into the oncoming traffic hitting Markee.

Loudon suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Exeter Hospital for treatment. Smith did not suffer any injuries and Markee suffered life threatening injuries and was med-flighted to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center where she eventually died.

There were two children in the car with Markee that suffered non-life threatening injuries and were transported to Portsmouth Regional Hospital for treatment.

The crash is still under investigation.
